For those who have glass stove tops filled with scum and thick oil stains, this is for you. There are many cleaning hacks to fix your glass stove top, and today I will be sharing with you my #1 cleaning hack. Why go to the store and buy expensive products that probably won’t work when you might have all the things you need, right in your kitchen cabinets? Yes, you heard that right no need to go purchase anything else, keep reading...

There are many varieties to choose from in order to get the best results using baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, or even flour! I know right I was shocked when I learned that flour could be used (I'll share the flour hack in another post soon!)

My personal favorite however, is the baking soda and dawn dish soap method. Here's what you do. First, you take a sponge and allow it to soak in the water this can be either lukewarm or cold it actually does not matter the temp, then you squeeze the sponge onto your glass stove top and then you take your baking soda and sprinkle a generous amount on top of the water. Next, you wait jus let everything sit for about ten minutes and then scrub it all over the stove including the area where the knobs are on the top. Lastly, you take a wet towel and wipe over the baking soda.

Now you may be asking, “But there are still white streaks left behind right?,” and that’s okay. The final step is to take a little dawn dish soap and scrub over any noticeable streaks. After you scrub the streaks, you take another damp towel and clean up all the soap.

And once you clean up all the soap then you will finally have a perfectly clean stove top and you also just saved money by using your own kitchen products.
